What is my size?

You've probably noticed that Hestra uses European numerical sizing rather than S, M, L, which can sometimes be confusing. Measuring your hand can be a good starting place, but often people find converting their usual S, M, L size to a number to be faster.

If you can't find a local Hestra retailer where you can try on gloves, the information here should be helpful. 

Note that everyone has different fit preferences and minor size variations from one hand to the other, and while we can't guarantee an accurate size recommendation online, this advice should help you find your size. Ergo Grip and Vertical Cut styles are designed for a snug fit, which can affect a user's size preference.

Quick tip: most US consumers are either the same numerical size as their US shoe size, or within one number. Compare your US shoe size to the S, M, L approximations below for a quick recommendation.

For example:

- US shoe size is men's 8, would normally order a size Medium in gloves, you're probably a size 8 in Hestra.

- US shoe size is 10, would normally order a size Large in gloves, size 10 is closest to XL, so you might prefer using a Hestra glove in size 9.

We have different size scales - Unisex, Women's, Junior, and Kids. Each size scale fits differently, so a size 7 in a Junior style is smaller than size 7 in Women's, which is smaller than size 7 in Unisex.

For UNISEX sizes as S, M, L, the numerical approximations are as follows, with most styles offered only from sizes 6-11, but a few styles range from 5-13:

5=XXS, 6=XS, 7=S, 8=M, 9=L, 10XL, 11=XXL, 12=3X, 13=4X

For WOMEN'S sizes, most styles are offered from sizes 6-9, with a few offered in size 5. Our Women's size scale runs roughly like this:

5=XS, 6=S, 7=M, 8=L, 9=XL

JUNIOR sizes run from 2-7, and are estimated by age:

2=2-3 yr, 3=4-5 yr, 4=6-7 yr, 5=8-9 yr, 6=10-11 yr, 7=12-13 yr

KIDS run smaller than Juniors, run from 0-6, and can be estimated as follows:

0=0-1 yr, 1=1-2 yr, 2=2-3 yr, 3=3-4 yr, 4=4-5 yr, 5=5-6 yr, 6=6-7 yr
